When creating or managing a short link with Azaz, check the available link settings to see whether a click or access limit can be configured.
What is an access limit?
An access or click limit, when available, can restrict how many times a short link may be used before it stops redirecting visitors normally.
This can be useful for temporary links, limited-access content, campaigns, testing, or other situations where you do not want a link to remain available indefinitely.
Check your link settings
- Sign in to Azaz.
- Open your Azaz Dashboard.
- Go to My Links.
- Find the short link you want to manage.
- Open its available edit or management options.
- Look for an available click, access, or usage limit setting.
Set the limit
If an access-limit option is available, enter the limit you want and save your changes.
Review the setting carefully before enabling it, especially if the short link has already been shared publicly.
What happens when the limit is reached?
The exact behavior depends on the options provided by Azaz. After the configured limit is reached, the short link may stop redirecting visitors to its normal destination.
If you are using this feature for an important link, test its behavior so you understand what visitors will see after the limit is reached.
Views and statistics may be different
Do not assume that every statistic shown in Azaz Statistics will necessarily correspond exactly to an access limit.
Automated traffic, repeated requests, browser behavior, security checks, or other technical factors may be handled differently depending on the feature.
Be careful with QR codes
If a QR code contains a limited Azaz short URL, the QR image itself will continue to contain that URL after the access limit is reached.
However, visitors scanning it may no longer reach the original destination once the configured limit has been reached.
You can create QR codes using Azaz QR Codes or access your QR dashboard.
Remember where you shared the link
Before setting a limit, consider whether the short URL has already been shared through:
- Social media
- Websites
- Email or messaging apps
- QR codes
- Business cards
- Posters or signs
- Other printed materials
Those copies may remain visible even when the short link is no longer accessible.
Can I change the limit later?
If Azaz allows the setting to be edited, return to My Links and open the link's management options.
Review the current settings before changing or removing an existing limit.
Use limited links responsibly
An access limit does not change the rules for using Azaz. All links must comply with the Azaz Terms of Service.
