If you created a short link with Azaz, you can manage the link from your account and, when the option is available, update its destination URL.
Open your short links
- Sign in to Azaz.
- Open your Azaz Dashboard.
- Go to My Links.
- Find the short link you want to update.
- Open its available edit or management options.
Change the destination URL
Find the field containing the destination URL and replace it with the new address you want visitors to reach.
Enter the complete URL, including https:// when appropriate.
For example:
https://example.com/new-page
Review the new destination carefully, then save your changes.
Test the short link
After updating the destination, open your Azaz short link in a browser.
Confirm that:
- The short link opens normally.
- It redirects to the new destination.
- The destination page loads correctly.
- The destination works properly on mobile devices when applicable.
Does the Azaz short URL change?
Updating only the destination is different from changing the custom alias. If the short-link alias remains unchanged, continue using the same Azaz short URL unless the interface indicates otherwise.
For example:
https://azaz.click/example
can remain the link people use while its configured destination is updated.
What about existing QR codes?
If a QR code contains your Azaz short URL and that short URL remains the same, it can continue directing visitors through that short link.
After changing the destination, scan any important QR codes and confirm that they now lead to the correct page.
You can create additional QR codes using Azaz QR Codes or access your QR dashboard.
Check links used on printed materials
If your short link appears on business cards, posters, menus, packaging, signs, or other printed materials, test it after changing the destination.
This helps make sure existing materials still send visitors where you expect.
Review your statistics
You can view available link activity from Azaz Statistics.
Use safe destination URLs
Do not redirect Azaz links to phishing pages, malware, scams, deceptive content, or other prohibited destinations.
All links must comply with the Azaz Terms of Service.
