Keeping your Azaz Bio Page up to date helps visitors reach the correct websites, profiles, content, and other destinations you want to share.
It is a good idea to review your Bio Page regularly, especially after changing a website, social profile, campaign, product, or other destination.
Open your Bio Page settings
Sign in to Azaz and visit My Bio Pages.
Select the Bio Page you want to review and check the links and content currently associated with it.
Open your public Bio Page
Do not review only the settings inside your account.
Open the public version of your Bio Page so you can see what visitors actually see.
Test each important button or link and confirm that it reaches the intended destination.
Check for broken links
Websites and pages can move, change, or disappear over time.
Periodically open the links on your Bio Page and check for:
- 404 or page-not-found errors
- Websites that no longer exist
- Expired campaign pages
- Deleted social profiles
- Unexpected redirects
- Browser security warnings
Update or remove links that no longer lead to the intended destination.
Remove outdated content
If a promotion, event, announcement, product, or campaign has ended, decide whether its link should remain on your Bio Page.
Removing outdated links can make it easier for visitors to find your most important current content.
Put important links where visitors can find them
Think about which destinations are most useful to your current audience.
If the options available for your Bio Page allow you to arrange your content, consider placing important current links where they are easy for visitors to notice.
Keep link names clear
The text shown for a link should accurately describe what visitors will open.
For example, descriptive labels such as:
- Visit Our Website
- View the Menu
- Contact Us
- Latest Video
are generally more informative than vague labels that do not explain the destination.
Make sure the label matches the destination
If you change where a link points, review its visible name as well.
For example, a button labeled View Our Menu should not unexpectedly open an unrelated page.
Clear labels help visitors understand where they are going.
Review your social links
If you change a username, profile address, or social account, remember to update the corresponding link on your Bio Page.
Test the new URL after saving it to make sure it opens the correct public profile.
Use Azaz short links when useful
You can create Azaz short links for destinations you want to organize or manage separately.
Your signed-in short links can be managed from My Links.
If you place a short link on your Bio Page, test both the Bio Page button and the short URL itself.
Check for unexpected redirects
When testing a link, pay attention to the final website that opens.
If a destination unexpectedly redirects somewhere else, investigate the reason before continuing to send visitors there.
This is particularly important if a website has changed ownership, expired, or may have been compromised.
Check your Bio Page on a phone
Bio Pages are commonly opened from social profiles and other mobile applications.
Open your public Bio Page on a phone and check that:
- The page loads correctly.
- Text is readable.
- Links and buttons are easy to use.
- Important content is visible.
- Each destination works properly on mobile.
Check your Bio Page after major changes
Test the public page again whenever you make an important change.
This includes changes to:
- Links
- Link destinations
- Visible link names
- Social profiles
- Contact information
- Other important Bio Page content
Check QR codes that point to your Bio Page
If you created an Azaz QR Code for your Bio Page, scan it occasionally and confirm that it still opens the intended page.
This is especially important when the QR code appears on printed materials.
Be careful with printed Bio Page URLs
If your Bio Page URL appears on business cards, posters, packaging, menus, or other printed materials, keep those existing references in mind before making changes that could affect the page address.
Printed materials cannot be updated as easily as online posts.
Review campaign links after a campaign ends
If your Bio Page contains links for temporary campaigns, review them when the campaign finishes.
You may want to replace an expired campaign with a current destination rather than leaving visitors with outdated information.
Review available statistics
You can use Azaz Statistics to review available activity associated with your Azaz links.
Statistics can provide useful context, but they should not replace manually checking that your Bio Page and its destinations still work correctly.
Do not put sensitive information on your Bio Page
Remember that a public Bio Page may be accessible to anyone who knows or discovers its URL.
Do not publish private information such as:
- Passwords
- API keys
- Authentication tokens
- Private account information
- Confidential information
Review your Bio Page regularly
There is no single schedule that works for everyone.
If you frequently change campaigns or content, you may want to review your page more often. If your links rarely change, occasional checks may be sufficient.
It is also useful to perform a review immediately after making an important change to one of your linked websites or profiles.
Use Bio Pages responsibly
Your Bio Page and the destinations linked from it must comply with the Azaz Terms of Service.
Do not use an Azaz Bio Page for phishing, malware, scams, impersonation, deceptive redirects, or other prohibited activities.
If you encounter a suspicious or harmful Azaz link or page, use the Report page.
