If you created a short link with Azaz, you may be able to edit its settings from your account dashboard.
Open your short links
- Sign in to Azaz.
- Open your Azaz Dashboard.
- Go to My Links.
- Find the short link you want to change.
- Open its available edit or management options.
Changing the alias
If the alias field is editable for your link, enter the new alias you want and save your changes.
The new alias must be available and must meet any requirements displayed by Azaz.
The new alias must be unique
Each Azaz short-link alias must be unique. If another link already uses the alias you entered, choose a different variation.

In this URL, example is the alias.
What happens to the old short URL?
Be careful when changing an existing alias. Changing the alias can change the short URL people use to reach your destination.
If you have already shared the old short URL on websites, social media, printed materials, QR codes, emails, or messages, check those locations after making the change.
Do not assume an old alias will continue to work after it has been changed. Test the new short URL before sharing it.
Check QR codes that use the old URL
If you created a QR code containing the old short URL, test it after changing the alias.
If necessary, create or download a new QR code using Azaz QR Codes or manage your QR codes from your QR dashboard.
Test the new link
After saving your changes, open the new short URL in your browser and confirm that it redirects to the correct destination.
It is a good idea to test important links before publishing or distributing them widely.
Use custom aliases responsibly
Custom aliases must not be used for phishing, impersonation, scams, malware, deceptive content, or other activity that violates the Azaz Terms of Service.
