Azaz may provide custom domain functionality that allows supported domains to be used with links created through your account.
What is a custom domain?
By default, Azaz short links use the azaz.click domain.
For example:
https://azaz.click/example
A custom domain lets you use a domain you control instead of the default Azaz domain when the feature is available and correctly configured.
Check your Azaz account
Sign in to Azaz and open your Dashboard.
Look for the available domain-management options in your account. If custom domains are available for your account, follow the instructions displayed there to add your domain.
You must control the domain
Only add a domain that you own or are authorized to manage.
Connecting a domain may require changes to its DNS records. These changes are normally made through the company where your domain or DNS is managed.
DNS changes can take time
After changing DNS records, the new configuration may not become available everywhere immediately.
If your domain does not work immediately after configuration, allow time for the DNS changes to propagate and verify that the required records were entered correctly.
Use HTTPS when available
A custom domain used for public links should use a valid HTTPS connection when supported.
If your browser displays a certificate or security warning, do not ignore it. Check the domain configuration before distributing links publicly.
Test your custom domain
After the domain is configured, create or open a test short link and confirm that:
- The custom short URL opens correctly.
- The connection uses HTTPS without a certificate warning.
- The short link redirects to the intended destination.
- The link works on both desktop and mobile devices.
Managing your short links
Your existing and new short links can be managed from My Links.
Custom domains must follow Azaz rules
Using a custom domain does not change the rules for using Azaz. Links must comply with the Azaz Terms of Service.
Custom domains must not be used with Azaz for phishing, malware, scams, impersonation, spam, or other prohibited activity.
