When creating or customizing a short link with Azaz, you may find that the custom alias you want is unavailable.
What is a custom alias?
A custom alias is the unique text that appears at the end of your Azaz short link.
For example:
https://azaz.click/example
In this example, example is the custom alias.
The alias may already be in use
Each short-link alias must be unique. If another Azaz link already uses the alias you entered, you will need to choose a different one.
Try adding another word, number, or abbreviation to create a unique alias.
The alias may be reserved
Some words or paths may be reserved by Azaz because they are required for website pages, system functions, account features, or other services.
Reserved aliases cannot be used for regular short links.
The alias may contain unsupported characters
If Azaz does not accept an alias, check the characters you entered. Use a simple, readable alias and follow any validation instructions displayed when creating the link.
Choose a clear alias
A good custom alias should be:
- Short and easy to remember
- Relevant to the destination
- Easy to type and share
- Unique on Azaz
For example, instead of a very long alias, you could use something concise and descriptive when it is available.
Try another alias
You can create a link from the Azaz homepage or manage your existing links from My Links.
If your preferred alias is unavailable, choose another variation and try again.
Do not use misleading aliases
Custom aliases must not be used to impersonate another person or organization, mislead visitors, distribute harmful content, or otherwise violate the Azaz Terms of Service.
